The Not Yet team got it’s name when Mr. McKenzie asked if they had a team name yet. Their reply was….”Not Yet!”

Team Not Yet was competing in DI for the first time in the structure challenge, This Granite Hills High School team had it’s share of challenges beyond the competition and they came through with shining colors.

According to their challenge, they had to build a structure made only from newspaper and commercially available glue. It had to be a certain height and diameter in order to load weights. With tens of broken structures, Andy their builder came up with a final one that had to withstand not just the journey from Orange County to Knoxville, but also the high humidity of Knoxville. A new element that could change the strength and weight holding capacity of his structure.

The team had 60% points to incorporate the structure into their presentation with a newsworthy event not from their own country.
